Cheepie Lamb Chops

Spring has sprung and it's time to spice up your dish! Tender lamb chop recipe made with flavourful marinade and baked to perfection. 

What You'll Need

  • 8-10 stewing chops - Order Your Lamb Box Here

  • 3 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon allspice
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • Salt & pepper to taste
The Victoria Hill Lamb Method
  1. Trim fat from chops and place in a shallow baking pan

  2. Mix together the remaining ingredients and add to 2 cups of water
  3. Pour over chops and cover
  4. Bake in moderate oven for approximately 2 hours
  5. Remove any excess fat
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes and greens

Tip: Make the paste and rub it over a leg of lamb before roasting. When baked, the meat is delicious and the gravy is rich and piquant!
