To check if our delivery service covers your area, type your suburb or address into the search bar below. Make sure to include your state. Once your address appears on the map, zoom out to get a broader view. Check if your location falls within the blue delivery zone. If it does, you are eligible for our delivery service.

If you reside outside these areas, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we will make every effort to accommodate your delivery needs.

Handling and Transport

Our products are transported in a freezer truck from our cold rooms to the delivery address. The product will be left according to your specific delivery instructions as stated at the time of order, or left in the default drop zone (see below). You are responsible for the security of this nominated safe location and we will not accept responsibility for any damage or loss that occurs as a result of our delivery to that location. To ensure the product quality is maintained, it is recommended that the box is transferred into a freezer within 2 hours of delivery. If you will not be home on the day of delivery, we suggest leaving an esky out the front of the building. 

Delivery Charge

In light of rising operational costs, we regret to inform you that free delivery is no longer available. As of now, a flat delivery fee of $30.00 will be applied to all orders. This fee is essential to cover the expenses associated with our cold couriers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of your lamb box. Rest assured that this fee will be transparently presented during the checkout process before you confirm your purchase.

Pick Up Option

For those who prefer to pick up their orders, we offer a convenient pick-up option at the Toowoomba Farmers Markets every second week. To avoid disappointment, please check which dates the Lamb Van is scheduled to attend. You will be required to provide proof of purchase to our team members at the stall.

Delivery Instructions

Please ensure driver instructions are clear and concise. We request that you nominate a safe drop zone that does not require direct customer contact. The designated drop zone should meet the following criteria:

  • Well-lit
  • Unobstructed pathways
  • Free from loose animals (our drivers will not enter if dogs are present)

Please note that deliveries to back doors are not offered. For rural addresses, our drivers will exercise discretion when accessing your property. If your driveway presents challenges such as being unpaved, long, dimly lit, or steep, it may pose an increased risk to our vehicles. In such cases, your delivery will be placed at the safest spot near the road. If your house is not visible from the road, our drivers will exercise their judgment to determine the most secure delivery location.

Contact and Notifications

While we cannot guarantee customer contact, it is especially unlikely during nighttime deliveries. We encourage you to utilise the automated SMS notification as your primary communication method upon receiving a delivery. Adjusting your mobile device settings can facilitate this process. For business deliveries, scheduling during daytime windows is advised to optimise successful delivery. Please remember to include your business name in a separate field from the address to assist our drivers.

Default Drop Spots

Our default delivery drop spot is typically the front door. Alternative delivery instructions can be accommodated, but these will always be subject to driver discretion. If alternative instructions cannot be followed, your delivery will be left in the default drop zone.

Delivery Days and Timelines

To ensure efficient and timely delivery, we adhere to specific order processing and delivery schedules tailored to different delivery zones. Orders are processed on the following days:

  • Monday at 9:00 AM
  • Tuesday at 9:00 AM
  • Thursday at 9:00 AM

Following order processing, packing occurs the next day. Delivery times vary based on your delivery zone. Our estimated delivery times, starting from the point of purchase, are as follows:

  • Brisbane Metro: 3-4 Business Days
  • Greater Brisbane: 3-5 Business Days
  • Gold Coast: 3-4 Business Days
  • Sunshine Coast: 3-5 Business Days
  • Lismore: 3-6 Business Days
  • Jimboomba: 3-6 Business Days
  • Tweed Heads: 3-6 Business Days
  • Toowoomba Metro: 3-6 Business Days
  • Greater Toowoomba (Monday Only): 3-7 Business Days
  • Kingaroy (Wednesday Only): 3-7 Business Days

Example Timeline

Here's an example of our delivery process:

  1. Order Placement: A customer from the Brisbane Metro region places an order at 11:00 AM on Monday.*

  2. Order Processing: The order is processed at 9:00 AM on Tuesday.

  3. Order Packing: Packing of the order is completed on Wednesday.

  4. Delivery to Brisbane Metro: Deliveries to Brisbane Metro are executed on a daily basis.

  5. Customer Receipt: The customer receives their order between 08:00 AM and 06:00 PM on Thursday.

*Please note that the order was placed after 9:00 AM on Monday, which is why it wasn't processed until Tuesday.
