Lamb Storage Guidelines
Proper storage is crucial to maintaining the quality and safety of your lamb. Please see meat label for the expiration date.
Freezer Temperature: Ensure that your freezer maintains a consistent temperature between -18°C and -15°C.
Storage Duration: When properly stored at these temperatures, lamb can remain safe for consumption for up to 24 months after the kill date.
Packaging: It's essential to keep lamb well-packaged to prevent freezer burn and maintain freshness. If the packaging is compromised, it's best to use the lamb as soon as possible.
Freezer Burn: Freezer burn occurs when meat is exposed to air in the freezer for an extended period. It can result in dry, discolored patches on the meat's surface. While freezer-burned meat is safe to eat, it may have a compromised texture and flavor.
Quality Considerations: While lamb can be safe to eat for an extended period when stored properly, the quality of the meat may deteriorate over time. For the best taste and texture, it's recommended to consume lamb within the first 6-12 months of freezing.
Thawing: When you're ready to use frozen lamb, it's best to thaw it in the refrigerator. Slow, controlled thawing in the fridge helps maintain the meat's quality and safety.

Delicious, and great value!
We have been very pleased with what we have eaten so far, looking forward to the Leg of Lamb which is next. Have enjoyed the sausages and the Lamb patties, really pleased that they aren't loaded with fat and salt. Will definitely be ordering more. Thank you.
Fantastic quality meat .... succulent and tender .... beats supermarket lamb by a country mile (or 1.6 kilometres). Great service and delivery from Victoria Hill Lamb.
It has everything I need to feed a family.
